Obituary of Butch Pross

It is with great sadness that the family of Windsor “Butch” Pross announce his passing on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the age of 79.

Butch was born in Schenectady, NY on October 20, 1941, the son of the late Windsor, Sr and Bertha Madej Pross. He served in the Air Force before starting a 44 year long career at Ellis Hospital, retiring in 2010. An avid Mets and Giants fan, Butch enjoyed watching sports, gardening, listening to oldies music, and his many beloved pets.

Butch will be missed by his wife Barbara; his children, Ryan (Erin), Richard (Deb), William and Denise; siblings, Lorraine and Kathleen, as well as his grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. Aside from his parents, Butch is predeceased by his son Douglas.
