Obituary of Dorothy M. Bardascini

       Dorothy M. Bardascini, 96, of Amsterdam, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 following a brief illness.

     Born in Rotterdam Junction on December 13, 1924 a daughter of the late Vito and Nancy SanPietro Casso.  She attended school in Rotterdam Junction. 

  Dorothy was employed for many years at the former Martin Jay Dress Shop in Amsterdam. 

     She was a communicant of the former St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.  Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos and her walks with friends to McDonalds. 

     She married James Bardascini on January 9, 1946.  He passed away on December 18, 2008.  She is survived by her children, Nancy (Ben) Lisicki, James and Pamela Bardascini and John Bardascini.    Grandson, Jeff Lisicki.  Great granddaughters, Ashlyn and Emily Lisicki.  Special family members, Colleen Crudo and Carol Stearns.  Other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

     Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave,  Amsterdam, NY.
