Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear that your dad passed. He was a really wonderful man, generous, and humorous. I have great memories of when we were kids staying at the camp, in the boat, playing with the dogs, and the pool. Your parents were always willing to let me tag along and treated me very kindly. I remember your dad used to call me "Hildred". It used to crack me up. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you all and that he will be missed. Our sincerest condolences to Kelly and the Henry family. Ed has been our friend and neighbor for many years in Mayfield. We are going to miss his frequent visits here doing maintenance on his property. We especially admired the flowers he planted every year. Rest In Peace Ed.

We were high school classmates and I have always respected his work ethic and warm heart over the years. Our paths crossed as I lived in Gloversville as a physician for many years. As always when a death occurs of a lifelong fellow on our journey, I wish I could have said goodbye in person. Robert Curtis Mills, MD

I will always remember you as the one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known. I’ve always been so amazed at how beautiful you made the camp look every summer. You have instilled this incredible work ethic into your beautiful daughter, my dear cousin Kelly
who means the absolute world to me. You always made me smile. I loved seeing you and sharing a laugh. You were such a multi-talented man. I know that Chris is going to miss you and your delicious cooking. The clam chowder in particular. You were such a special man. One of my most recent memories that just brings a smile to my face is that Kelly invited me up to the camp to relax, have a couple of drinks and lay out on our floats and catch some sun. Little did we know you had a few “jobs” for us to do before it was time to relax... Kelly you know the story. We made it to our floats around 5pm. I will always cherish these memories in my heart. RIP Ed I love you and I will miss you. Until we meet again.

I will miss Ed greatly. As his daughter Kelly’s friend, he treated me as if I was part of the family. I’d make jokes and pretend not to know what a wrench was just to get him to laugh, but he still let me help with the docks! My favorite memory is visiting at “Camp” one summer. I wore a crazy hat that reminded him of Michael Jackson. I was no longer Amy, I was his “good friend Mike.” Once he drove me and Kelly around where he grew up, and shared memories. I will forever treasure him letting me in to his life.
Ed, you’ll be forever missed and never forgotten.
Much love,
Amy E. Soto-Shed (aka your “good friend Mike”)
