Obituary of Rosemarie Loucks

Mrs. Rosemarie "Rosie" Loucks, age 88, of Gloversville, died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Albany Medical Center, Albany.

She was born March 9, 1932 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Dominic and Fortuna “Flossie” Semprevio Priolo. She was employed as a production supervisor by MCA Record Company for over forty years. She enjoyed going to casinos, any chance she had.

Rosie was a member of the Yellow Jackets Drum & Bugle Corps, the Concordia Club and bowled on several leagues.

Survivors include two granddaughters: Kimberly Loucks of Texas and Allison Pardue (Ryan) of Florida; a great-granddaughter Jade Marie Loucks of Florida; a sister, Geri Scocco of Florida; special nieces Donna Mazzeo of Florida and Michaela Mazzeo of Gloversville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond "Carl" Loucks in 2008; a son, David Ronald Loucks in 2009 and a daughter, Denise Marie Loucks in 1957.  She was also pre-deceased by her brothers Felix, Phillip, and Dominic, Jr. Priolo; sisters Corrine Lawrence and Florence Fraker.

At Rosie's request, no service will be planned.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
