Obituary of Jerry W. Lindquist

Mr. Jerry W. Lindquist, 71, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility in Amsterdam.

Jerry was born on August 3, 1949 to the late Violet and William Lindquist.  He worked at several local businesses including Curtis Lumber, and later School House Pools where he retired from. He was united in marriage to Ms. Cathy Early, they remained loving married until her passing in 1985. Jerry enjoyed working with his hands and being outside. He loved fishing and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, but more than anything he loved being with his friends and family.

Jerry is survived by his sons Thomas (Dorothy), Christian, and Johnathan Lindquist, daughter Tammy Lindquist, brothers Steven, William, and James Lindquist, sisters Susan Parsons, Mary (William) Canfield, Virginia (Steven Kowal) Leonard, and Lorraine (Adam) Houle. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Kirsten Lebron, Samantha and Thomas Lindquist, his companion of over 20 years Debbie Butler, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Violet and William Lindquist, wife Cathy Early Lindquist brother Jeffrey Lindquist, sister Nancy Lindquist and brother-in-law Eugene Parsons.

Services for Jerry will be held at the family’s convenience.
