Mary had a soft spot for animals, especially horses and dogs. She was always pleased when I visited with my dogs and a kiss from one of them made her day. I was very proud of her when she chose to visit and to make donations to the animal shelter. She definitely knew what she wanted - I recall several family get togethers where a situation would arise and Mary would usually have her mind set on a particular choice or option - she usually won! Several years ago she made me an apron with a dog motif - I have treasured it and use it often.

Mary was the sweetest lady, she will be missed dearly. I have so many memories of her and her sense of humor, oh she also had a way of letting you know what was on her mind, and she got her point across. She loved hearing about our dogs and children. She was very happy when staff would bring her dog to visit, enjoyed going out to eat, and wanted a “pickle “ on her hamburger. Cows and horses were also a favorite of hers. Love you Mary, RIP MARY LOVE Arlene
