Obituary of Bonita C. Tyszko

Bonita "Bonnie" C. Tyszko,  age 81, of Gloversville, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Palatine Nursing Home, Palatine Bridge.

She was born January 1, 1939 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late James and Nellie Smith Martin. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and was later employed as a tax preparer by H&R Block of Gloversville and as the bookkeeper/office manager for Northeast Riggers and Erectors of Watervliet.  She last worked for many years as bartender/manager at Concordia Club in Gloversville. She was an animal lover and enjoyed reading, cooking, music, sci-fi/fantasy movies, casinos and going out for dinner. She was a member of The Concordia Club.

Bonnie is survived by three children, Charles Tyszko Jr. of Utah, David Tyszko (Rose) of Utah and Katrina Tyszko of Gloversville; a brother, James Martin Jr. (Careen) of Ancram, New York; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Tyszko Sr. in 1983 and by a daughter-in-law, Lecia Tyszko.

A Graveside Service will take place at 1:00 pm Friday, December 4th at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Facial covering and social distancing will be required.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166.
