Obituary of Joseph M. Morrison

Joseph W. Morrison, age 65, of Hudson, died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.

He was born December 26, 1954 in Hudson, NY, the son of the late Richard and Sharon Clukey Morrison. He served in the US Army from 1974 until 1975 and was later employed as a machine operator at Lorbrook, a salesman at NAPA, a shipper at Hudson Cold Storage. a bus driver at Coarc and as a bus driver at Michael S. Johnston LLC of Philmont. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his grandchildren, cigar and barbecuing. He was a member of CH Evans Hook and Ladder.

Joe is survived by his wife, Dawn M. Wallach Morrison of Hudson; two sons, Joseph W. Morrison Jr. and wife Jennifer of Stuyvesant and Todd J. Morrison and wife Rose of Germantown; two sisters, Darlene McCabe and Andrea Funk of Hudson; seven grandchildren, Hailey Morrison, Harmony Morrison, Landon Ramm, Joseph Morrison III, Jennie Morrison, Gabriella Morrison and Katie Morrison; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Stodolski.

There will be no services planned at this time.
