Emily was such a wonderful friend to my family as I was growing up. I have so many memories of her and Win beginning in Tribes Hill, and many more of her and Jim on the family farm. I so enjoyed visiting and working on her farm when I was younger. Jim was a father figure to me, and taught me the value of hard work. Emily was a woman of charm and style. We enjoyed our visits with her and her devoted sister Winifred when we came to see her Miller's Corner's neighbor, our Aunt Laura. She always greeted us warmly and loved to hear that her beautiful home on Miller's Corners Road was looking so good with the flag flying out front.

Dear family & friends,
Emily, (Miss Rothmyer) was my 5th grade teacher. All of the children loved her, especially me. I was a shy kid who cried easily and she was just a gift to me that year. When I saw her come to school with her pencil skirt and pearls, I knew things would be just fine.
I saw her a few times in recent years with Winifred and she always remembered me. She was just an angel and I'm so sorry for your loss.
