Obituary of Victor M. Herrera Jr.

Victor M. Herrera Jr., 54, of Amsterdam New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Foltsbrook Center in Herkimer, New York. He was born on February 5, 1966 in Luquillo, Puerto Rico.

Victor has lived in Amsterdam for the past 30 years. He enjoyed everything about the great outdoors and loved to take walks, especially on the beach.

He is survived by his son Victor M. Herrera III, and by his two beautiful grandchildren, Ioannia Rose and Elian James.

Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. Victor always recognized the importance of children having the best childhood possible. In honor of Victor’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Puerto Rico Inc. online at bgcpr.org
