Obituary of Dale Lee Bonfey

Mr. Dale Lee Bonfey, age 59, of Mayfield NY, passed away suddenly on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam.

 

He was born October 1, 1961, the son of Robert Bonfey and Jane Shaul Bonfey. He was employed as a Meat Cutter at the Amsterdam Price Chopper/Market 32 for 44 years. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed camping, hiking, and spending time with his loved ones. In his spare time, you could always find him tinkering with something and enjoying a nice cold Bud Light and a shot of Fireball whiskey. Dale was always ready and willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it.

 

Dale is survived by his wife, Teresa, their son Joshua, and daughter Jaydalin; his siblings Robert Bonfey Jr. (Sue), Jennie Morgan (Bruce), Elizabeth Lamont (Skip), and Chad Jones (Maribel); along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

 

He was predeceased by his parents and his grandson Jason Lee Bonfey.

 

In keeping with Dale’s wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services at this time.

 

Cremation took place at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
