Obituary of Terry Lee Buyce

Terry Lee Buyce, age 57, of Mayfied, died Friday, October 16, 2020 at Albany Medical Center, Albany.

She was born July 26, 1963 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Audrey Scott Buyce. She was a 1982 graduate of Mayfield Central School. She was employed for many years as a forklift operator by Beech-Nut Foods of Amsterdam until her death.  

Terry enjoyed taking care of her horses, cats and dogs. She also volunteered at the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society.

She is survived by a sister, Candace Buyce-Darnell of Cameron, Missouri; an uncle, Donald G. Scott and wife Marlene of Mayfield; an aunt, Linda Scott-Flint and husband Al of Mayfield; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family at Mayfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd; Gloversville, NY 12078.
