Obituary of Kathryn M. Cooper

Kathryn M. Cooper, 57, of Amsterdam went home to the Lord peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was born October 14, 1962 in Weymouth Massachusetts, and is the daughter of Robert E. Cooper of Virginia, and the late JoAnne Mary (Wellinger) Cooper.

Kathryn is survived by her brother Mark (Patricia A. Sokalski) Cooper of Amsterdam, nephews Joshua and Jonathan, and a niece Allison. She is also survived by her loving aunt Sandra Carriola of Amsterdam.

During her lifetime Kathryn was a graduate of Brockton High School, MA, and worked for Coleco, Guardian Photo, and Losurdo Foods all of Amsterdam. Kathryn also enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Thursday October 15, 2020 from 11 AM to 12 Noon with a 12 Noon Service of Remembrance at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the family plot of the Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY.  Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required at all services.
