Many, many years ago, my husband Jim & my brother Doug went hunting, so Nancy and I spent the day together, don't remember who had gotten a squirrel, but we decided to fry it. I think (but could be wrong) that, that also was the day someone cut the fence to out yard of pheasants, so some got out and were on the road causing a traffic issue (at that time Jim & I lived in the house that we took down at Woodstuff) so it was Rt 30A. we called State Police who came and spent more time directing traffic for the cars that tried to avoid hitting the pheasants. So we forgot the squrriel, by the time we went back into house it was charcoal. we surprised the guys but not like we had planned. I think it was the year before Doug & Nancy got married, so you see that it why I don't remember exactly, a long time ago 55 years.

My deepest sympathy to Doug and your family. Nancy was such a loving, thoughtful friend and a lady with edge. She was so kind when my Mom passed and really stepped up to assist with the painful process. I know that my Mother has let everyone in Heaven know that the stakes just increased with Pitch and Bingo. My condolences to Doug and her family. I graduated from high school with Nancy. Nancy was my life time friend. She was my older two sons Cub Scout leader. I enjoyed seeing Nancy every month during our girls 66 luncheons. I will always remember the times we had at our special get togethers at one of our friends house. We shared plenty of laughs at these get togethers. I will miss her. I pray God will continue to give her love ones strength.

Doug Sr., Doug Jr., Derek, and Daniel: I was saddened to learn of Nancy's recent passing. I didn't know her -- but I feel that I came to know her through the boys in my classes at JHS.
