Obituary of Susan L. Stock

Susan L. Stock, 56, of Shaper Avenue, Canajoharie, NY died peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Mountain Valley Hospice with her family by her side. Born in Little Falls, NY on December 27, 1963 she was the daughter of Ralph and Alice Carlson Gordon.

A lifelong area resident, Sue graduated from St. Johnsville High School.  She worked hard all of her life and was a homemaker.  She was employed as the Court Clerk for the Town of Palatine.  Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan was predeceased by her husband, Gary N. Stock on June 21, 2011 and her sister Gail Dygert.

She is survived by her three children, Ashley Ackert and her husband Matthew, Justin Stock and Mackenzie Stock (Alex Kilmartin); four grandchildren, Trevor, Cameron, Emery and Laikynn; three siblings, Sherry (Jimmy) Keough, Jennifer Ambrose and Gary (Rosie) Gordon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11a.m. at the St Johnsville Village Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 3:30p.m. until 7p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.  Masks and social distancing protocols are required.
