Obituary of Louis Caracci
Louis Caracci, 93, died in the early morning hours of Friday, September 25, 2020, after a brief illness. He was of the Roman Catholic Faith and a US Navy Veteran. He died on his wedding anniversary at Elmhurst Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Edison, NJ and then Tom’s River New Jersey. Louis most recently resided in Middle Village, Queens, NY .
He leaves behind his loving wife Gwen, and his sons: Dr. Michael (Debra) Sheridan, Billy (Verna) Sheridan and Brian (Karin) Sheridan; his loving grandchildren: Toni, Billie-Jean, Colleen, Christopher, Connor, Kristin and Brianne as well as many great-grandchildren. He was always filled with fun and laughter and a great joy to his family. He will be sorely missed…the world was a little brighter when you were with Poppy Lou!
He was cremated. His burial will be at Long Island National Cemetery for the immediate family. Mass of the Resurrection and a Celebration of his life will be at a later date for his family and many friends to gather.
