Obituary of Lois L. Holubetz

Mrs. Lois L. Wooster Holubetz, age 95, of Gloversville, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility, Amsterdam. 

She was born May 8, 1925 in Amsterdam, the daughter of Harold and Mabel Gordon Wooster. She was employed by Mohawk Carpet Mills, Templeton Glove Company and Coleco Industries. She was of Lutheran faith.

Lois is survived by two children, John M. Holubetz (Darlene) of Gloversville and Victoria A. Wallace (John) of State College, PA; two grandchildren, Jeffery Holubetz and Brent Wallace; five great-grandchildren, Garret, Emily and Ethan Holubetz and Jackson and Charlotte Wallace; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was married for over 55 years to Stanley Holubetz who passed away in 2004. Lois was also predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and Robert Wooster.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 am to 12 noon on Monday, September 28th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, where a Private Service will follow. Facial covering and social distancing will be required. 

Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill.
