I visited Marvin at his "Office" two or three times a week for over 27 years. I took care of his AD that he used to run in the Gazette. Mostly however we talked politics or finances. Even after I retired from the Gazette I'd still stop by almost weekly just to visit and talk. I still shop at the store and was so disappointed when he finally stopped coming in. I would always ask Ozzie how he was doing. He was one of the most intelligent and pleasant people I ever had the pleasure to know.
My sympathy goes out to all his family on the loss of such a wonderful and gentle man.
Sincerely,
Tom Anderson

So sorry for your loss, have many memories of Marvin at the Avon Market on Goose Hill. Rickey, His first wife, kept her horses with me here on the farm. Eventually, she became sick and had to sell the horses. I still miss her.
