Obituary of Teresa M. Rodriquez

Teresa M. Rodriquez, 56, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2020 at St Mary's Hospital.  Born in Puerto Rico on April 28, 1964 to the late Frederick and Eusebia (Modesti) Rodriquez, Teresa moved to the Bronx for several years before coming to Amsterdam and settling down.   

Teresa loved her kids and grandkids with all of her heart. She enjoyed knitting and couponing, always finding a good deal when shopping. She was kind hearted, loyal, and loving. She would help you even if she left herself without. 

Teresa was loved and adored.

Teresa is survived by her children, Keesha Modesti, Erica Colon, Evette Colon, Eliot Colon, Raynat Rodriquez, and Erika Morales; her grandchildren, Eric Vargas, Sarayya Cortes, John Vargas, Isaiah Cortes, Amir Mujahed, Keesha Teresa Bonilla, Naylisia Colon, Younis Mujahed, and Carter Pederson; her siblings, Frederick Rodriquez, Annie (Juan) Rodriquez, Lety Casillas, and Mildred (Rolando) Cosme; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held privately, at the family’s convenience.
