Obituary of Lise Canfield

Mrs. Lise "Liz" Canfield,  age 64, of Gloversville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Fulton Center, Gloversville.

Liz was born June 16, 1956 in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late Dr. John and Hildegarde Sponnoble. A 1974 graduate of South Miami High School, she also graduated from SUNY Cobleskill. Liz was employed at Rite Aide in Gloversville for many years. She was an avid bird person and also bred and raised Maltese dogs with her husband and sent them all over the country. 

Liz is survived by her husband of 24 years, Gary R. Canfield; three children, Hilde S. Burton (Kevin) of Catskill, Matthew Canfield of Clifton Park and Dana M. Stuart (Rob) of Ocala, Florida; two grandchildren, Damian and Krystina Stuart of Ocala, Florida; as well as two sisters, Ann Sponnoble and Sue Sponnoble, both of Tamarac, Florida.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic a Celebration of Life for Liz will take place at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
