I have known Mrs. A for almost 2 decades. Not only did I assist her with her hearing, but we had wonderful conversations and many laughs during our visits. My staff knew to book an extra half hour for your mom, because we loved to visit and I especially loved our discussions on faith and history.
One memory that makes me laugh: she had come in for a visit and recognized the previous patient, but didn’t know her name. So she asked me “what is that other woman’s name?” I replied “which one”. Mrs A says, in her wonderful accent, “the one with the wrinkles!”, to which I replied, “all my patients have wrinkles!”. Well, your mother nearly fell on the floor laughing. She had tears running down her face with laughter. Every time after that, she would recall that memory and we would Laugh all over again. To say she was my all time favorite patient is an under statement. I am fortunate to have known her and learned her story. May G-d Bless you all. She was a wonderful Woman!
