Obituary of Gail M. Austin

Ms. Gail M. Austin, age 80, of Gloversville, passed away Wednesday July 1, 2020 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

She was born July 28, 1939 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Roy, Sr. and Daisy Austin. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative by Coleco Industries of Mayfield for many years. Gail enjoyed going to the casino with her friends and family, she loved to go to Friendly’s daily until her illness did not allow. Gail was a lifelong member of the Gloversville American Legion.

Gail is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews along several extended family members.

In addition to both of her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Rita Patterson, Roy Austin, Jr. and Geraldine Gallup.

A graveside service of comital will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday July 14, 2020 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
