Marie and Family, condolences and sympathies to you. May you be consoled by the Grace of God. I know that you will find the strength to get through this very sad and difficult time. Knowing that your friends are here for you will hopefully be of solace to you. May your faith sustain you in the days, weeks and months ahead. Your grown children are such shining examples of the great job that both of you did in raising them; they will always be a constant reminder of his love and influence on them.

When I was around 6 years old we lived next to Carl. One day I was playing with a toy soldier with a parachute I had and it was tangled beyond fixing when Carl came out of his house and headed for his car to leave someplace when he seen me struggling to get my toy working again. He turned away from his car and came to our yard and asked me if I needed help which I said yes. He untangled my parachute and I was able to play again. This is the kind of guy he was always looking to help someone out who needed it. May Carl rest In peace
