Obituary of Dolores A. DePascale

     Dolores DePascale, 90, of Laurel Drive, Amsterdam, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 10, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Ciro “Jerry” and Josephine (Martuscello) DePascale.

     She was born in Amsterdam, NY on January 16, 1930 and was a lifelong resident and graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School.
     Dolores was employed by Sears Roebuck Co. as an Administrative Assistant for her entire career in Amsterdam and also in Colonie. 

     She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old movies.  She enjoyed traveling and visiting her brother, Lt. Cmdr. Fr. Daniel DePascale when he was stationed at various naval bases.  She also spent time visiting her brother at his retirement home in Florida.
   

      Dolores was a devout catholic and was a member of the former St. Michael the Archangel Church and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Amsterdam.

    She was recently preceded in death by her brother, Lt. Commander/Fr. Daniel DePascale on November 11, 2018 and brother,  Frederick DePascale.

     Survivors include her godchildren and cousins. 

         A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Monday June 15, 2020 at 11:15AM at Our Lady of  Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 39 St. John St., Amsterdam with Father Pascal “Pat” Iannotti as celebrant.  Dolores will be interred alongside her parents and brothers in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 39 St. John St., Amsterdam, NY 12010 or to a charity of one’s choice.   Due to Covid 19 all attendees are required to wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.   Please leave condolences online  at www.brbsfuneral.com.
