Dear Cindi & David, My heart is with you both at this very sad time. I was blessed to have had the privilege of knowing & loving your Mom, and spending many wonderful days visiting her & Jack with you all those years ago. She truly was one of a kind, and a very loving person, (but not without her other moments as well, said with a grin!) - it brings a smile recalling such good times. No one loved her children more than Joan did, and her beloved dogs & horses held a huge place in her heart as well. The heavens have gained a shining star, and the world as we know it is just that much dimmer with her loss. She will always be with you, watching over you...she loved fiercely while here, and that will never change. My deepest condolences to you both~she will be so missed...it was an honor to have known her. Love, Kim
