We always enjoyed spending the summer at Marilyn and Bob's camp at Pine Lake in the Adirondacks. I have very fond memories of my time there and with them. I was happy to see her several times with my wife and son over the past few years.
They both made Christmas very special every year for Saralin and I. We loved their Christmas village and train that went around the tree each year.
I will miss you and all the card games we used to play. Love, Brent

My condolences to the Anderson Family. Marilyn's debut on the stage at Proctors with my Mom for the Next to New follies was a highlight for my Mom and should go down in history for downtown Schenectady.

Dear Kathy and Family,
We are remembering Marilyn today, especially as spring begins here in West Hill and we see the many variety of flowers still thriving in our yard on Oakridge Drive. They were transplants from Marilyn who definitely had a magnificent green thumb. Last year, the wild geranium in our yard was also transplanted into a new garden down by the West Hill pond, so Marilyn's plants are flourishing in many spots. We remember many, many years of friendship between Bob and Marilyn and Bill and Lois, including countless lunches out, dinners at home in West Hill, and trips to Pine Lake. We send our condolences to you and your family.

Anderson Family.....
Our moms are reunited once again and I’m sure sharing memories of their long friendship from years together in West Hill and working at The Next to New. Your mom was one of the sweetest, kindest women I knew. She threw my bridal shower for me at her home and knitted a pink baby blanket for our daughter when she was born. Whitney was never without her blankie until she left for college! I still have it at the house and just saw it yesterday while rummaging through my trunk. I will remember your mother for many reasons but mostly of happy chats while she was in her gardens in WH. My condolences to your whole family. You’re never quite prepared to lose your mom but the memories you hold of her will sustain you through your grief.

To a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother:
Mom, so glad that you were able to spend the last years with me in Ithaca. The memories we created and shared are numerous and will be with me forever. I'm thankful you are now at peace, have finally joined Dad after 11 long years and betting the Stager sisters are creating quite a raucous.
Love you always, Kathy

My name is John Yamauchi and I am Marilyn's Grandaughter, Saralin's Fiance. I will never forget the first time I met Marilyn (Beh-Beh). It was at the airport in Florida for her Grandson, Brent's wedding in 2013. She was so happy to see Saralin and and jumped into her arms. I could tell how much love she had for her. I so impressed to learn about how much she loved photography and coloring in very detailed coloring books. She was always so much fun to be around because she was so particular and shy. I recall taking many pictures of the three of them and she would not want to smile in the pictures but I think I finally caught her in one.
I remember helping her with her camera and computer when I went to visit Ithaca with Saralin for Christmas in 2017. We had a great trip and really enjoyed spending Christmas with Kathy and Beh-Beh. We went to a great breakfast place, I think it was called Falls, which had the best pancakes I have ever had. We also went hiking to Ithaca Falls and it was so beautiful to experience it during the winter and surrounded by snow. I took a picture of Marilyn, Kathy, and Saralin and it is one of my favorite memories of our trip because they all were so happy to be back together.
Our Christmas visit really was special and I wish we could have visited more, especially after our daughter Giuliana was born in July 2019. Beh-Beh would have loved to have met Giuliana and I know her face would have smiled so bright and just as big as the day I met her when she had run into Saralin's arms again. She was wonderful to have met and did an amazing job raising her family. I will miss her dearly and hope she is in peace.
With love and sorrow,
John Yamauchi
