Obituary of Lucia P. Sperduto

Lucia Sperduto LPN, 60, Of Amsterdam passed away April 3, 2020. She was born in Amsterdam, NY on December 4, 1959 and is the daughter of the late Peter and Carmella (Tambasco) Petrucci.

She is survived by her loving husband John Sperduto of Amsterdam NY, her sisters Mary Phyllis (James) McDowell of Bleeker NY, and Anna (William) Barboza of Amsterdam NY, her nephew Brian (Tracy) Barboza, their daughters Lilly and Gianna of Glenville NY, and her niece Kathleen (Mitchell) Nichols and their daughter Peyton of Worcester VT. She is also survived by her brother in law Thomas (Sooji) Sperduto of Queensbury NY, and also survived by her aunts, uncles, and several cousins in the greater Rochester NY area.  Also by her beloved beagles Bert and Ernie.

During her lifetime Lucia was a 1978 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School,  she then continued her degree at Fulton Montgomery Community College for nursing. She was employed as a charge nurse at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care for 23 years.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
