Obituary of Cecilia M. Wilcox

Cecilia M. Wilcox of Gloversville, NY passed away on March 19, 2020 at Ellis Hospital following a short illness.

She was born on July 20, 1941 in Cranberry Creek, NY to the late Burdett and Edith (Fosmire) Warner. Cecilia attended Mayfield Schools. She worked in the public sector and enjoyed waiting on and joking with many of her customers. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, garage sales and going to casinos.

Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Robert Wilcox, her sons Robert Jr. and Jamie Wilcox, her brother in-law John Havel and a sister Vivian.

She is survived by her sister Madelyn Havel, niece Valerie Havel, nephews John (Dori), Ricky (Edie) and Ronny (Karen) Havel. She is also survived by her grandchildren Damien and Kayla Wilcox and her kitty Pickles.

As per Cecilia’s wishes, there will be no public services.

Cremation took place at Park View Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
