Obituary of William H. Wyszomirski

William H. Wyszomirski, 84, of Broadalbin passed away at home on March 19, 2020.

 

Born in Amsterdam on July 16, 1935, a son of the late William H. Wyszomirski, Sr., and Monica Saj Wyszomirski Anderson. He was primarily a lifelong Amsterdam resident, having resided in Belmar, New Jersey for a short time as well. Bill was a 1954 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School.

 

e served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1964.

 

Bill was employed as a plumber, steam fitter with General Electric Co. in Schenectady for many years. He then was employed as a plumber and welder with Insulating Materials, Inc. (now Von Roll Isola) in Rotterdam until his retirement in 2000.

 

He enjoyed his annual winter trips to Aruba for more than thirty years now. He returned on March 15^th from his final trip. He also enjoyed boating on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Most of all, he loved his only son and grandsons. He attended all of their sports activities and cherished family time with them.

 

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Bruse Wyszomirski; a brother, Garry Anderson; a step-father Eddie Anderson and his former wife and mother of his son, Joann Craig Wyszomirski.

 

Bill is survived by his loving son, William M. Wyszomirski and beloved grandsons, Garin L. and Troy W. Wyszomirski; two sisters, Arlene Pabis of Hagaman, NY and Laurie Collins and her husband Barry of Belmar, New Jersey; one brother, Robert J. Wyszomirski of Clifton Park; a step-daughter, Amy Brunner and her husband Kerry; a step-son Stephen Hesslink; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

 

Due to these trying times with COVID-19, a memorial service and celebration of Bill’s life will take place at a later date to be announced.
