Dear Marlene, Mike and Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of Augie’s passing. Your family is among my family’s oldest neighborhood friends. We had the privilege of first meeting Augie when he first moved to Fonda and lived across the street from us. May God Bless the three of you and the rest of your family in the days to come. In grief, Jim Grisham

Many condolences to the family for their loss; Mr. Augustine will be missed.
Coach Augustine added such a bright spark to normally dull elementary school days; Tuesdays and Thursdays were the highlight of the week with Coach's gym classes! He was always positive, nipped negativity in the bud, and came up with so many fun gym activities that got everyone moving and excited to participate. God bless him for bringing the trampoline out annually; those were some of the most fun moments I ever had at school.
My father, Anthony Aversa, would always speak so highly of "Auggie"; they remained close friends throughout their teaching years together.
Coach Augustine's light and legacy will remain in all of the hearts and memories he touched.
Sincerely, Nancy Aversa Gutelius

Dear Marlene, Lisa, and Michael, We send our most sincere condolences. We have known Coach since we were in sixth and seventh grade. He taught the greatest phys ed classes of all time, which for me were the square dancing lessons. What a gift he gave us! He was the best of men, a fine example to all, and a shining light. You are in our prayers and our hearts.
