To the Children of Nelle Able. I am sorry for your loss. She and my mother, Leona Osborne, were neighbors. First on Lexington Ave and then on Briggs St. extension. On many of my visits Nelle and I would talk about the South. We always enjoyed each others company. May God be with you at this time Jim Ebert Gainesville Ga.

We are blessed to have shared life with Nelle as her pastors from 2001 - 2010. Standing with her in prayer for herself and her family during those years endeared us to one another. Although she didn't sing solos as often as she aged, her voice still resounded with praise above all others. Nelle often spoke of the faith of her parents, especially her father and credited them for leading her into a Godly life. She remained devoted to her husband Richard even as we served him the Sacrament of Communion and he reconfirmed his faith in Jesus Christ only days prior to his departure to Heaven. She walked from his room with peace in her heart knowing they'd be together for eternity...and now they are. Our prayers are with all who love Nelle and will miss her. May you find joy in your memories and comfort in God's promise of Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. May you anticipate a Great Reunion.
Sincerely in Christ,
Revs. Alan and Barbara Witter
