I have such good memories of my aunt who lived across the street. We enjoyed many visits to her house, her stories, her laughter, her cookie baking, and always making sure everyone was doing their school work. She had a warmth and humor that touched many people. We are fortunate to have had a visit with her last fall to see her sweet smile one last time. My condolences to her family, who took such good care of her. "Ma" as I called her was the sweetest nicest person I have ever had the pleasure to know. My memories are many however the best is about 15 years ago I went to see her around Christmas with a fruit basket. She had painted her big picture window in the Kitchen with a life size Jesus and nativity scene. It was so good!.I never knew she had art talent among her many many talents. I was amazed. Also she liked to paint mercurochrome on all the kids booboos. loved that. loved her.
