Our acquaintance has spanned >40 years. Our initial "meet & greet" was in a snowstorm on Spruce St.in the 70's (I believe your Ariens snow-thrower was next to new at that time!). When you repaired my G.E. 10-band radio, I knew you were THE electronics repairman. From my Panasonic 8-track receiver to my Zenith T.V./V.C.R. combo, you fixed them all! Growing up on Clyde St, your positive reputation blanketed in the area. God's speed, my brother in faith.

John was truly a great man willing to share not only by helping with his hands, but teaching as well. We lived on Woodward Ave, just around the corner, when I was in my late teens I’d stop by his modified garage / workshop and visit with him. He always had time and was always “tinkering” with something - I loved to help! Little did I know then, he was teaching me. I learned a lot about electronics and flow theory.
He took Bell & Howell home electronics classes from books, and was building electronic kits that taught him the latest technology.
I credit him for teaching me how to understand how electrons and water flow, I later went to school for electronics and started my own business - Ron’s Electronics.
Thanks again John, Rest In Peace - you are remembered.

One of my favorite memories of you was card night at Pauls house. The amount of times he video taped you....im laughing now.
You always were so kind to my children and I'm her grateful for that. They respected you.
The time(s) I would be at your house and you would sucker me into listening to you read EVERY SINGLE letter to your GF.
