Obituary of Peter Johnston

Peter Johnston, 73, of Sprakers NY passed away on Monday January 13, 2020 with his beloved daughter by his side.

Pete was born on July 27, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, NY and went on to serve faithfully in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. Pete and his family relocated to the Sprakers area in the mid 90s. He held many different jobs over the years and was most recently employed by Bill Lake Modular Homes where he retired from in 2008.

Pete leaves behind his loving daughter Chelsea McAdam, her husband Shawn and their daughter Nova McAdam of Fort Plain, sister Tootie Dwy of Poughquag, NY, his beloved cat Ollie, and a few close friends.

Pete will be remembered for his no-nonsense demeanor, he was straight forward, loved to have fun, and more than anything loved his daughter Chelsea. He will be missed by those he loved.

In keeping with Pete’s wishes there will be no formal services.
