Obituary of Arlene V. Conte

Arlene V. Conte, 104, of Johnstown, NY died peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019.  Born in Bleecker, NY on April 10, 1915 she was the daughter of the late George and Nettie Campfield Edwards.

Mrs. Conte attended Gloversville schools and was employed as a glove maker for various entities in the area.   In 1957 she relocated to Burbank, California where she was employed for Lockheed Martin until her retirement in 1980.  Shen then moved back to the area to be closer to family.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawnna S. Winsman of Fonda, NY; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.   She was predeceased by a daughter, Audrey Benham.

A memorial service will be held in April of 2020 at Bleecker Street Church of Christ.
