Lee was a dear friend of my brother Wayne Horning, they not only were classmates and friends, they were on the Fire Dept. together for many years until Wayne's passing. Whenever I come home, Lee was always a welcoming person and always happy to see me and take a few minutes of his time to just "Talk". Lee was an asset to Canajoharie for all of his life and a loving Husband,Father,Grandpa and Friend to all. I will miss seeing Lee when I come home for reunion in May,2020. May he have eternal rest and know how much he was appreciated and loved by his town. Gods blessings to Lee and his family, rest well chief.

JoAnn, Emelie and Tom,
Lee was a great guy, we have some fond memories from Little League and Cub Scouts and he will greatly be missed as he rests in peace with Christ. The sadness never goes away but may your hearts soon be filled with beautiful memories of Lee as you remember his life in happier times. Try and keep all the memories close to your hearts and he will always be with you.
We are keeping you all in our prayers with much love.
Our deepest condolences,
Deb and Joel Terranova

Lee, some thoughts about you from Brian and Louise Mazza. Canajoharie was most fortunate to have you as a resident for so long for you were an active participant in the community in so many ways. Your involvement in DPW, the Fire Department and Little League were some of your contributions. I remember some of our Little League meetings we held at my house when we were planning to install lights on our field. You were instrumental in helping to facilitate our plan. Some of my fondest memories of you and Canajoharie were all those games we played and how you made sure that all the kids had equal playing time. Too many good memories to share with how our respective families grew up in this small town we called home but I thank you for all you did to make Canajoharie a better place to live. JoAnn, Emelie and Tom - our condolences to you all. Not only did I have the privilege of having you as students and players on the baseball team but my wife and I remember you well. JoAnn, you just lost your Mom last week so this has to be extremely difficult for you and your family. Louise reminded me that your mother and her mother, Belle were the best of friends for years, That’s special.
It seems that whenever I came back to Canajoharie to pay my respects to someone I knew, Lee was always there to greet me and made it feel more like home. Our respects to the Jenks family. May God bless your family and guide you through this difficult time.
Brian and Louise Mazza

I am so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. He was a great man, and a valuable member of our community. I will always remember his kindness, and his advice whenever needed. I came in contact with Lee on may occasions at the funeral home for work and for time of morn, he was always present and ready to help. Fly high Lee, and say hello to Grandpa when you get there.
