Obituary of Agnes L. Prue

Mrs. Agnes L. Prue, age 74, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady after a brief illness.

 

She was born October 8, 1945 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Warwick. She was later the proud owner and operator, with her husband Joseph, of Rocky’s Tavern in Gloversville. Agnes loved to cook for her family, go camping and fishing at Cedar River Flow, and attend garage sales for the good bargains.

 

Agnes was married to the love of her life Joseph J. Prue Sr. on October 19, 1663. This year would have been 56 years together.  

 

Agnes is survived by her son Joseph J. Prue Jr. (Virginia), her daughter Tina M. Kuehner (Scott), her four grandchildren; Brandon Lair, Easton Prue, Jessica Harnish, Lindsay Meservey, her sister Edith House along with her special friends Betty and Floyd King.

 

She was predeceased by her parents Clyde and Mary Warwick, and recently by her husband Joseph J. Prue Sr. who passed away on September 6, 2019.

 

In keeping with Agnes’ wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services at this time.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Brennan Humane Society, 437 9 Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078.
