The day before grandma's passing the Nurse Assistant told us that grandma told her she wanted family and friends to visit but she did not want anyone to be there when she died.
The next morning we sat with her, played her favorite hymns, read from her devotional and her Bible. We left for lunch and let her know we were all going.
She was peaceful. Resting comfortably and sleeping.
While we were at lunch grandma had her way. She passed from this life into the arms of Jesus at 2:05 PM October 15th 2019. Just minutes before her children returned to her room.
God knew what she wanted and honored her final request. A life well lived and passing on her terms, thank you, grandma, for setting an awesome example for us all.
