I vaguely remember Mr. Brown while growing up in Gloversville, NY. I was a good friend of Audrey Clay, who I believe was his cousin. Mr. Brown’s life was extraordinary. He will be missed.

To Jim's family - our hearts go out to all of you and especially those of you we knew more personally than others (his devoted loving wife Cathy, his children Steve, James, Jewel and Lynn and his beautiful sister Maude). We were saddened to hear of Jim's passing and regret that we were unable to extend our sincere heartfelt sympathy in person to all of you. Jim was a wonderful man, he certainly lived a life of service, he served his God, his country, his family and his community. He was a positive role model for the youth he mentored. Jim was so greatly respected because he gave respect. He was honest, fair and compassionate, he touched many lives that made a difference. We pray that you will find comfort in knowing he is in Heaven already telling stories of the amazing family he had and the blessings in life he received.
