Obituary of Adell L. Lazarou

Adell L. Lazarou, 91, of Amsterdam passed away on October 6, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 17, 1928 in Amsterdam, and is the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Kisielis) Kerible.

She is survived by her three loving sons, David P. Lazarou, Mark P. Lazarou, and Jeffrey L. (Joyce) all of Amsterdam. Two grandchildren Jennifer, and Nicholas Lazarou, also by three great grandchildren Rowan, Winston, and Willa Jean. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

During her lifetime Adell was an area resident her whole life. Adell was employed at M. Lurie Department Store, and for the Amsterdam Police Department retiring in 1989. She was also a member of the former St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic, and currently a member of Historic St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
