I've been blessed to have had Jim in my life for the past six years. He had an amazing spirit and an extraordinarily large heart for anyone lucky enough to call him a friend. He loved his family unconditionally and proudly boasted about each of them to anyone he spoke with. This world has darkened with his absence, and he will be sorely missed by so many.
Patsy, we are here for you and your family in this terrible time and can't begin to fathom the loss your family must be feeling. Jim was an amazing person and I consider myself lucky to have known him. Saying I'm sorry for your loss seems to simple a word at this time as the loss of Jim McNamara is simply too sad for the right words. He will be missed as he was loved.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim, and learning from him. He was a true gentleman; always willing to go the extra mile. Of special note were some of the ping-pong tournaments and challenges we faced with some very good opponents. I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing! What a great guy ! I have know him for about 40 years when he would come into fix refrigeration/ freezer parts at Sacandaga Bible Conference, Camp of the woods and then at Tryon. Was a super sweet man. Jim was a wonderful person and always smiling. I had the pleasure of working with him with the local hospital. He brightened the room every visit we had. He will be missed dearly. My condolences to the family.

To the entire McNamara family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Jim when he did work for the local school district. We shared many talks about the NY Yankees. To say he was a fan is an understatement. Though I didn't know him well on a personal level, I knew how much family meant to him. I know that there is nothing that anyone can say to take the hurt away but please, take comfort in knowing that you will see him again one day. Dear Mrs. McNamara, Judy and Family, it is with great sadness that I write this. Our sincere condolences over the loss of a great man, Mr. McNamara. I went to school with Judy so I knew her family. Mr. McNamara was always so kind to me when I went to their home or saw him out. He always had a smile on his face and a welcoming hello. He was so loved in the community with a huge family and lots of friends. I remember talking to him a few years ago on the phone and we were talking about our businesses. I told him I was doing well and I had the best customers. He then quickly said that he had the best customers. We both laughed and said how lucky we were. The love for his family was strong, very strong. He was grateful and proud of each of you. He was a smart man and a hard worker. My family is full of grief for all of you. It is hard to believe. He lived a happy life, but it is never long enough.
