Obituary of Nadine I. Morrison

Mrs. Nadine I. Frye Morrison, 87, of Gloversville, NY passed away on September 7, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Gloversville on August 11, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Chester and Ila Frye.

A lifelong area resident, Nadine attended Gloversville and Mayfield schools.  She was employed by Coleco until her retirement.   She took great care of her family and everyone who needed her.  She had a smile that could light up a room.  She was always there if anyone needed to talk or just a shoulder to cry on.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing and always enjoyed hosting Holidays at her home.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children Ann Phillips, Karen (Jack) Gifford, Kenneth (Renee) Morrison, Gene (Jodi) Morrison, Sherry (Rich) Miller, Tina (Joe) Morrison, Katie (Joe) Smida, Kitty (Francis) Hausman, Michael (Brenda) Frye Jr., Matthew (Caila) Wilder; her sisters, Patricia Putman, Esther May, Laura Carpenter; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nadine was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a sister, two brothers, a son, a daughter and a grandson.

Services for Nadine will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 12p.m. at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY.  Burial will follow in Ferndale Cemetery.  A calling hour will precede the funeral beginning at 11a.m.  All are invited to attend.  Please visit the online memorial at www.brbsfuneral.com
