Obituary of Melvin E. Yager Jr.

Melvin E. Yager Jr., 55, of Mayfield, NY, has gone to his eternal rest on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019.

Born on March 1st, 1964 in Cooperstown, NY He was the son of Melvin Yager Sr. Melvin attended local schools. Melvin was employed as a truck driver for various companies over the years. He had a deep love and appreciation for fishing and wood working. Melvin will be fondly remembered by his sons for being a dreamer and a very unique thinker. He was very passionate about trying his best to be successful in life.

Melvin was a devoted father who leaves behind his sons, Matthew Yager, Jared Yager, and Alexander Yager all of Mayfield, NY.; his dear grandchildren, Alec James Elliot Yager, Adren Michael Alexander Yager, Avaiyah Jay Marie Yager, and Avayn William Melvin Yager. Melvin also leaves behind his beloved fur companion, a Silver Yorke named Zack.

Funeral services for Melvin will be held privately later date at the discretion of the family.
