To the DeVito family,
I was so sad to learn about the passing of your beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend, Donald A. Devito.
I knew him from the gym in Amsterdam. What a great man. I loved talking to him and hearing all kinds of stories. This kind of leading by example and the kindness he shown to everybody - lead to a real kind of wisdom that sticks with you. To me his life seemed remarkable, giving, and humble. He inspired me on many levels. His service was invaluable to our local community as well as our country.
