I am so sorry to just find out about the passing of my old friend Gene. We became friends in 3rd grade and stayed in touch over the years. Every time I came back to the Johnstown area I would try to visit with Gene. We had many adventures when we where young. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with his siblings and his children. I’m very sorry for your loss , Gene was one of the nicest men I ever knew .he cared about everyone and everything. He would of gave his shirt off his back , a heart of gold that man . Our deepest sympathies for the loss of such a great guy! Gene has always been an upbeat, friendly person and I will miss him. Lately, the only times I got to see him was when he was in the hospital.
It’s so strange that I never knew we were related when we were in school and then my son Jeff, became friends with Craig, and my niece Gina knows Gene. It’s a small world and it’s now a little smaller without our big guy Gene.

I am so sorry for the loss of Gene what a great guy. We chatted on fb many time even just to che k in. Giving me motorcycle advice wishing he was still riding. Offering his help if I broke down in texas because he knew ppl there. His daily struggles but trying to stay possitive. Not to mention growing up around the whole family and let's not forget that famous chilli!!! Such a wonderful family.
