Obituary of Carol A. Eagan

Carol A. (Guyette) Eagan passed away July 22, 2019, at the age of 80.  She was born May 10, 1939 to the late Laura M. (Knutsen) Guyette and Leo P Guyette.

She lived in Gloversville for most of her life until she moved to Florida to be near her daughter and family.
 
Carol retired from The Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility, where she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Before that she had worked many years at Gloversville Continental Mills and then MCA/UNI.  

She leaves behind  two children: daughter, Diane (Cronin) Stanyon and son, Mitchel Cronin (Jodi); four grandchildren:  Trishia Johnson (Jeremy), Ryan Stanyon, Cody Cronin and Zachary Cronin; three great-grandchildren:  Jason Johnson, Mason Cronin and Jason Cronin; two siblings: brother, Leo P. Guyette and sister, Laura Scheaffel. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Carol is predeceased by both of her parents;  a brother, John Guyette, sisters, Anna Rice (Kenneth), Beverly Abbott, Ida Mae Sajdak (Raymond), Lillian Guyette, an un-named infant;  and son-in-law, David Stanyon.

Per Carol's wishes there will be no visitation hours.  A Graveside Service held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Martin Road, Fonda, New York.  If you would like to make a donation in Carol's name to honor her life and passing she would like them to be to your local Dog Pound or to the American Cancer Society.
