Obituary of Charla Ann Mersinger

Mrs. Charla Ann “Chuck” Mersinger, age 44, of Gloversville, passed away suddenly, Sunday July 14, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville with her loving family by her side.

She was born September 25, 1974 in Gloversville, the daughter of Walter and Lynn Buyce. She employed as a Salesperson for the Classified ads by The Leader-Herald newspaper of Gloversville. She was known for loving anything Zebra, even having a room in her home dedicated to the animal, she enjoyed being on Jason and Joanna’s boat on the Sacandaga Lake and going country line dancing.

Charla is survived by her husband Brent A. Mersinger, her two children J. Katelyn Bantis (Alex) and Gage Mersinger, her parents Walter and Lynn Buyce, her three siblings; Joyce Maryanopolis (John), Tammy Ferrigno (Joe) and Walter Buyce Jr., her in-laws; Brad Streeter (Sheila) along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Chuck was predeceased by a granddaughter Olive Bantis.

Honoring Charla’s wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral service.

A celebration of life will take place from 2pm-7pm, Tuesday July 23^rd, 2019 at the Johnstown Community Center, 2 Prindle Ave. Johnstown, NY 12095.
