Obituary of Stacey Jo Updike

Ms. Stacey Jo Updike, 54 years old, of Gloversville, passed away with her loving family by her side on June 5, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam.

Stacey was born on August 11, 1964 in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of Nadena Horton White and Eldon Osterhout. She was later employed in the customer service department for Townsend Leather for 11 years. She will be remembered as a mother who loved her boys dearly and as a caring grandmother. Stacey enjoyed being with family every chance she had, watching football, looking at Christmas lights and spending time with her children. Her favorite animal was the tiger; she enjoyed collecting anything to do with them.

Stacey is survived by her mother Nadena White and her father Eldon Osterhout and stepmother Janice, her lifelong companion Fernando Crisafulli, her two sons; Kodie Updike and girlfriend Kelsey Duesler and their daughter Khloe, Zachary Updike and wife Abbey, three sisters; Marie Rice and husband Craig, Michelle Osterhout-Castle and wife Lindy, Erica Blowers and husband Josh, a stepsister Amy Carlson and husband Martin, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

She was predeceased by Douglas Allen and stepfather, Richard “Dick” White.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, Monday June 10, 2019 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00PM with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane society.
