In the very early '60's, I worked at Palkovic's Pic Up. I remember Tony coming over every Sunday morning to get the paper in his T - shirt, ESPECIALLY in the dead of winter! He was a man.

Dear Mark, Deb, Anthony, Nick
May the memory of your dad bring you comfort and peace in your days going forward. I will miss his calm quiet nature, and his beautiful brown eyes and his smile. Oh yeah, and the awesome peppers and sausage sandwiches he so graciously served us once upon a time, so delicious it was worth mentioning again and again.
He was one of the good guys!
Love and Peace to you all and Aunt Nancy

I can't begin to express my sadness in hearing of the passing of my Uncle Tony. Tony made my trips to NY to see my mother Mary easier by picking me up at the Albany Airport countless times. Recent fond memories include him taking me up to the Outlet in Caroga Lake to treat me to a a burger and beer. Last summer we had lunch at his other favorite place in Caroga Lake, Vrooman's, with his sister (my mother) Mary. Lots of laughs and good times with Tony. And of course the many Christmas gatherings at his home on Kingsboro Ave with all of his family.
Tony was always so kind to me and was a key figure in my life.
My prayers and condolences to his kids Mark, Deb, Anthony, Nick, and also to Aunt Nancy.
May God bless you and give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

To Mark and family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Mark, the last time we spoke, you talked of your dad and how he was slowing down and his health was failing. I can only hope that his days were peaceful and pain free. As they say, celebrate his life and all of your fond family memories.
You have my deepest condolences.

Loved Uncle Tony very much even though I am a non-blood niece in his family. I felt that he shared the same caring for me as he did for his blood relatives. He made me feel special and as a teenager I had quite the crush on him. You will be missed by all!

Mark, Anthony,Debra Nick, and Aunt Nancy, What can I say about a man of such few words? He was my Uncle, my surrogate father, my support system throughout my life. He was always there for Mom and us kids; if not in words, definitely in actions and I loved him deeply. To say that I'll miss him is an understatement. He was such a HUGE part of my life, as a child and an adult. Rarely did he not make it to see me when I traveled back home, and on those times he didn't come over, I knew he physically couldn't and would go to him. The last time I saw him when we were home for Mom's funeral, he broke my heart. He was so lonely and in so much pain (both physically and emotionally) and I felt so inept in trying to ease that pain. Mom and he were so close since their childhood. He missed her terribly. Your Dad loved me, supported me and was so important in my life. He made me laugh and could also aggravate the hell out of me and I loved him to the moon and back! Rest in Peace, Uncle Tony! You were the best and I couldn't have asked for a better Uncle!!!
My condolences to you and your loved ones.
