Obituary of Bradley Clark Devendorf
Bradley Clark Devendorf, 23, of Perth, New York, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, after a courageous 8 Year battle with leukemia. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Born Oct. 25, 1995, in Niskayuna, New York, the beloved son of Kenneth D. Ferenz and Amy Lynn Devendorf, he was a 2013 honors graduate of Amsterdam High School and the HFM BOCES career program with recognition. He went on to study at SUNY Adirondack, Queensbury ,NY and graduated with honors and an Associate’s Degree in Digital Multimedia.
Bradley, whose talent was reflected in his many awards and recognitions in the fields of web design and art, was employed as a Web Specialist for Fulton County Department of Information Technology in Johnstown, NY.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth D. (Darlene) Ferenz of Perth, and Amy Lynn Devendorf of Amsterdam; fiancé Mariah Kaminski of Amsterdam, aunt Karin Devendorf of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; aunts and uncles, Pam and Randy Lott of Broadalbin, NY; and Robert and Linda Ferenz of Mayfield, NY; best friend, Christian Stearns of Amsterdam, and many cherished co-workers, cousins and his dog “Hardy”.
Bradley was predeceased by beloved grandparents, Eugene Clark Devendorf and Frances M. Devendorf and Jerry J. and Edith R. Ferenz, and uncle Phillip Devendorf.
A Celebration of Bradley’s life will be held on Friday June 7, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Church, 25 Church St., Amsterdam, NY with Rev. Laurence C. Grenwold presiding. Interment is private in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY. In accordance with Bradley’s wishes to give back to others in his field, memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund that will be set up in the future for the BOCES Digital Media curriculum or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Upstate New York/Vermont chapter, 1 Marcus Blvd., Suite 104, Albany, New York 12205.
